I was all excited about trying the food served with the Venezuela's flag deco as this is my first experienced with Venezuelans food.
Polvorosa De Pollo (Venezuelan Chicken pot pie) ~ This is among my favorite Venezuela's dish. Polvorosa De Pollo served with light bread. It has a natural sweet delicious taste came from the raisin which is part of the ingredients.
Asado Negro (Roasted Beef Caramel) ~ slices of beef cooked with spices and brown sugar. A soft slices of beef with a thick dark sweet gravy.
Pargo Envuelto En Joja De Platanis Aromatizado Con Cilantro (Red Snapper Wrapped in Plantain Leaves with Coriander aromas) ~ This dish quite surprise and impress me. Part of the ingredients is the lemon grass. Well, I can say that it has a quite similar taste with Malay's dish.
I love this Green bean too. It looks simple but rich with taste.
Vuelva La Vida ~ Ohhh .. I love this cold salad. Its has a sweet, juicy and fresh taste which make me fell in love with it and off course, I took more than one.
This is lovely too
Seafood was the favorite during the Dinner too
Venezuelan Cold Salad ~ I love the taste ... Its sweet, a little bit spicy and a little bit sourish. Delicious!
The Venezuela's desert ~ Torta Maria Luisa (Guava Cake), Quesillo (caramel flan), Juan Sabroso (Sweet potato cake)
This Torta Maria Luisa (Guava cake) really win my heart *love*
Empanada (Deep fried, stuffed corn flour patties)
Cassava Bread
Another MUST try is the Yuca or Tapioca or 'Ubi Kayu' in Malay Language. Since this is my first experienced with the Venezuela's food, I found their food is quite interesting and quite similar with Malay traditional food. Unlike Malay, we eat the Yuca or 'ubi Kayu' with coconut or sambal, Venezuelan eat it with Cilantro Mojo.
