Freshly baked pastries
Small RM4 (2 pcs for RM7) Big RM5 (2 pcs for RM9)
First of all, its the smell of the pastries that attracted our attention. Fresh from the oven, the pastries are bake everyday to ensure the quality. The pastries are made of quality imported ingredients.
Tergoda tak? I still remember how good the taste is ..
Croissant and Apple Danish .. Yummy! The pastries are so fluffy, soft and crispy. Most importantly it is fresh. It was still hot when it being served to us on that lovely Sunday morning.
Madeleine - fresh from the oven
Suasana dalam Cafe ~ Sangat cool dan santai. People were seen enjoying their coffee, talking and some were seen reading books.
Chef Leoniel demonstrating and served us with a Crepe specially made using a French hot plate and French recipe.
Dressed up with Nutella .. everyone favourite *happy*
The Chocolate Crepe - RM15
Well .. this is what people meant by "Less Is More" ~ A very light, simple and nice Crepe I ever tasted. Not the luxury and fancy type of pancake but "Less is More" yah. I guess it is light in calories and non-fattening too. Hehe.

Tartare d'esturgeon - RM25
Tartare with farm fed sturgeon served with pickled and bread. Not only the taste is good. I love the creative and beautiful presentation too. Sayang nak makan. Hehehe.
Soupe de Ratatouille (Ratatouile Soup) - RM9
Silky rich and thick French stew of zucchini, eggplant and bell peppers served with baquette. A bit sourish, light but so filling. Could be a best choice for those who are on diet like me ya.
Salade Nicoise - RM15
It's a French style salad ~ Fresh coral salad, tuna, green beans, potatoes, boiled eggs, tomatoes and olives served on bed of lettuce. The salad is not crispy as it was not serve raw but yeah .. I guess this is how we should enjoy it. The taste is not bad. I finished mine. Hehe.
Confit de Carnard (Duck Confit) - RM38
A well brown grilled crispy duck served with roasted potatoes and sauteed vegetables. It has quite a plain taste. I guess it could be made and taste the way it is or could be my taste is a bit different. I prefer some 'heavier' taste .. but this is French ya !
Pain Poele de Esturgeon (Pan Seared Sturgeon) - RM45
Sturgeon - Harvested for their roe which is processed into caviar - the luxury food. It is rich with collagen, omega oil and amino acid. The texture is very firm and was made perfectly to my liking. You can feel the freshness and the sweetness of the sturgeon even by the first bite. Served with green, wild mushroom and garlic, this dish really win my heart. Do not forget to order yours ya!
We were given an opportunity to try this delicious Acar Sarawak served on a Prawn Crackers. Items are not in the list of menu yet but its an extra bonus for us. Thanks Chez Leoniel for the extras! Its delicious oo .. Malay said 'Secukup rasa'. Sedap.
Another extra is a delicious French Peach Tart - specially baked by Chef Leoniel Dg for our friend, Sidney's belated birthday. WoW .. a surprise from one to another. We love it!
All in .. all in .. we enjoyed our time spent at Chez Leoniel Cafe. Its worth to sacrifice our Sunday morning rest for this lovely cafe. The food are well presented, delicious and 'wallet friendly' too.
A photo with the man who gave his 'magic touch' on the lovely food ~ Chef Leoniel Dg. Humble, young, handsome and talented. Tergoda tak you all? Haha.
Thanks Chez Leoniel for the invitation. Honestly, I would love to come again to Chez Leoniel .. not only to enjoy the delicious food but also to enjoy the peaceful ambience here.
