Wake Up To A New Stay with the new Sunway Pyramid Hotel

The newly renovated 4.5 star Sunway Pyramid Hotel (formerly known as Sunway Pyramid Hotel East)  has now opened it doors to guests starting from today, 3rd November 2016. 

The Hotel will progressively open its guestroooms and suites after having undergone a RM125 Million renovation exercise since it closed on 1 April 2016 with a target to operate on its full inventory of 564 rooms and suites by end January 2017.

Misz-ella.blogspot.com and other members of the media were invited to a Special Media Preview event themed “Waking Up To A Brand New Stay”, prior to the opening on the 1st November 2016 and here, in this Entry I am all excited to share with you what Sunway Pyramid Hotel has to offer to it guests.

Mr. Albert Cheong, CEO and Group General Manager of Sunway Hotels & Resorts said, “The re-opening of Sunway Pyramid Hotel brings a new level of energy and excitement; adding to the spectacular facilities in Sunway City Kuala Lumpur. With the full room inventory available by end of January 2017, the cluster of three (3) hotels in Sunway City including the new Sunway Pyramid Hotel, will offer guests a choice of 1,433 guestrooms, suites and villas within a single integrated destination; thereby affording guests with every conceivable choice and budget”.

We were then adjourned to Sunway’s “urban picnic” breakfast pop-up, a multi-sensory breakfast voyage that replicates the upcoming offerings available at Kaffeinate, the Hotel’s food and beverage kiosk. Located at the main lobby, The Urban Picnic Breakfast will serve freshly brewed gourmet coffees, specialty teas, cold-pressed juices and a range of light snacks and refreshments prepared by the hotel’s team of chefs daily. Kaffeinate is scheduled to open in December 2016.

The General Manager of Sunway Design Sdn. Bhd., Mr. Nelson Yong ceremoniously presented a mock guestroom key of Sunway Pyramid Hotel to the CEO of Sunway Hotels & Resorts, Mr. Albert Cheong marking the project hand-over to the hotel’s management team during the preview.

Designed by Sunway Design Sdn. Bhd, each guestroom and suite in Sunway Pyramid Hotel focused on technology improvements with complimentary Wi-Fi and wired broadband internet access, smart lighting, bedside USB charger outlets, 42” LED Smart TV with satellite news, sports and movie channels, flexible workspaces, high pressure walk-in shower, ample closet space and numerous other enhanced facilities and upgrades. The hotel transformation also included a complete make-over on the hotel’s main lobby, a new coffee lounge, lift landings, guest floor corridors, guestrooms and the back of house spaces.

We were then had an opportunity to toured and visited the newly renovated rooms ~ beautiful, modern and come with all the comfort that you need in a room. Lets check it out .. 

The Deluxe Room is the Hotel’s lead-in room category; each room is fully equipped with the essential conveniences for an effortless stay.

The Deluxe Executive Room, ranging in size between 30 to 32 square-metres, is designed for guests who are seeking additional space.

The Deluxe Park View Room offers spectacular views of Sunway Lagoon theme park 

The new Family Suite, measuring between 53 square-metres to 60 square-metres, will be amongst the Hotel’s largest rooms offering comfortable spaces, added extras like two (2) bathrooms, a mini refrigerator, a microwave and bedding options for up to six (6) persons.

Sunway Pyramid Hotel’s introductory rates start from RM380.00++ per room per night, inclusive of breakfast for two (2) adults, complimentary Wi-Fi and are valid for stays from 3 to 30 November 2016. Room rates are quoted in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) and are subjected to 10% Service Charge and prevailing Goods & Services Tax (GST).
