We are just 42 days to Ramadan. Time flies very fast, right. In conjunction with Ramadan 2018, Sunway Putra Hotel presents The Ramadan Buffet for those who want to break fast elsewhere instead of their own home.
The
Ramadan Buffet, available at Coffee House, Level 9 of the Hotel will start to serve all
an extensive Ramadan Buffer from 19th May to 4th June 2018. With more than 100
selections of delights ranging from Malay ‘lauk pauk’ to Asian and Western cuisines,
this buffet spread will not be close to disappointment. Diners can expect a warmth
dining experience at an affordable price of RM128 nett per person and half price for
senior citizens and children aged 6 to 12 years old. Children the aged of 6 and below
is free of charge.
Generous spreads of appetizers such as “Kerabu Jantung Pisang”; “Kerabu Lala
Pedas”, “Rojak Buah”, “Tauhu Sumbat”, Grilled Beef Mandarin Salad, “Pecal”,
“Ulam”, Chilled Mayo Crabmeat with Corn Salad, Poached Fish with Pineapple
and Snow Peas Salad just to name few. For something different, the Japanese
counter offers assortments of Maki Sushi and Sushi Rolls.
Heads up to main counter with Chef Rossham’s must –try dishes such as Gear Box
Soup; Oriental Barbecued Lamb (Award Winning Dish in Thailand Culinary
competition), Salmon Fish Head Curry, Laksa Utara, Udang Kalio dengan
Belimbing Buluh, Daging Masak Lemak cili Padi, Ikan Patin Masak Tempoyak,
simply irresistible!
To add dining excitement, 12 action stalls featuring best-of-the best Chef’s
Ramadan break fast favourites and a la minute preparation; Grilled Fish (Ikan
Bakar), Grilled Seafood (squids and prawns), Chicken Chop with Mushroom
Sauce, Chicken Shawarma, Cucur (Cucur Ikan Bilis, Cucur Udang, Cucur
Kelapa & Cucur Pisang).
There is also Kuih Talam in Loyang stalls, featuring 10
types of Kuih Talam i.e. Talam Keladi, Talam Seri Muka, Talam Lapis, Talam
Lapis Pelangi, Talam Pandan, Talam Gula Melaka, Talam Jagung, Talam
Cendol, Talam Berlauk and Talam Durian.
Cendol, Ice Kacang, Teh Tarik, Fresh Tropical Fruits and variety of cakes are
available at dessert counter.
From 15th May to 4th June Corporate Companies or large group, the Hotel can cater Ramadan Buffer at Meet on 35 function room or any other 14 other functions rooms available with charges price of RM108 nett per person, minimum bookings of 30 persons is required per group. Buffet starts to open to public from 6.00 p.m. onwards.

All these scrumptious delights are specially planned and crafted by the Executive
Chef Rossham Rosli, who has more than 25 years of experience in hospitality
industry. Chef Rossham and his team took almost a month for menu planning and
co-ordinate the best selection of Ramadan dishes this year. “In past years, many of the guests complimented on Barbecued Lamb, Gear Box Soup and the many other
