Recipe - Ayam Masak Merah

I cooked Ayam Masak Merah again. Looks like the demand for my Ayam Masak Merah is very great. Macam dah chop masakan itu di wajah Misz-ella. Haha.


Ayam Masak Merah Mak Ella semasa International Potluck Gathering ~ Sedap kata diaorang .. seekor ayam sekali kami hadap.Ermmmm .. macam piranha sorang-sorang! Haha.



The Recipe will be in English since my international friend do not understand Bahasa Melayu. So lets check it out ...

Ingredients :-
1 piece of chicken (cut into 16 pieces)
4 pieces of small red onion
3 pieces of garlic
1 inch of ginger
2 stalks of lemongrass (crush the top only)
Chili paste (quantity depends on your level of spiciness)
1 small tin of Tomato puree 
10 table spoon of Chili Sauce

How to cook :-
Marinate chicken with tumeric powder and little bit of salt for a 10 minutes and deep fried the chicken. Half cook is enough.
Cut the onion, garlic and ginger into small and stir fry it using a little bit of hot oil. 
Add on the chili paste and the crush lemongrass. Please make sure you crush only the top of the lemongrass.
Wait until the chili paste is well cook, put in the tomato puree and chilli sauce.
Put in the fried chicken.
Let it blend well together for a while.
Add on a little bit of sugar and salt to the pan. You can add a little bit of water to the mixture.

OK done. Lets 'makan'.
