AkTION bring 3 Eco-Sports events to Langkawi

Hello readers ..

Another exciting sport event I brought to you. This time is about AkTION Langkawi.

Langkawi is a beautiful island with mountains, beaches, forest and distinct inhabitants which has been declared by UNESCO as one of 94 globally recognised Geoparks from 27 countries.

Langkawi which is famous among the local and the international tourist has taken another approach to strengthen its tourism with eco-friendly sport since 2016 via their first pilot project, Tuba Trail Run.

Organiser, E-Plus Global Sdn Bhd and supporter Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) expands the successful pilot project of Tuba Trail Run in April to a triple treat for eco-sport athletes around the world under the umbrella of AkTION including the Tanjung Rhu SwimFest, Mount (Mt.) Mat Chinchang SkyBridge Climb and the Tuba Trail Run 2017.

"Following the success of the Run, we are now launching this brand new AkTION series that cover eco-sports on both land and water. Langkawi is well connected with other states within Malaysia, and also from neighbouring countries. Therefore, our intent is to add eco-sports that is suitable for sports enthusiasts of all levels, as pillar to supplement Langkawi's popular leisure tourism" said Encik Iskandar Shahril, the Managing Director of E-Plus Entertainment Productions for Singapore and Thailand.

Tan Sri Khalid Bin Ramli, the Chief Executive Officer of Langkawi Development Authority (LADA) added that more than 400 domestic and international participants joined the April 2016 Tuba Trail Run. This positive outcome has made E-Plus to move forward with more eco-sport event on many parts of the beautiful island of Langkawi.
